While I have created this blog to share some of my own personal inspirations and information about social entrepreneurship and business ideas with you, there are times when I recognize that others have said certain things better already.
Inspirational Quotes Give You Confidence
Inspirational quotes are great to have to help uplift you during your times of need, as well as when you need that extra kick of motivation. In fact, even as a high school kid, I would put up inspirational quotes all around my bedroom wall, and I would read them from time to time to help me feel more confident and strong inside.
An Inspirational Quote Given By Nelson Mandela, Marianne Williamson and Coach Carter
One inspiration quote in particular stands out for me, and I want to share it with you today. You may have heard of it. This quote was expressed by Nelson Mandela, the former South African President and advocate for civil rights in South Africa, in his inaugural speech in 1994. He actually quoted it from a special book by Marianne Williamson which I have read too. If you like movies, you’ll also find this quote begin said in the inspirational movie, Coach Carter.
‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light more than our darkness which scares us. We ask ourselves – who are we to be brilliant, beautiful, talented, and fabulous. But honestly, who are you to not be so?’
Motivate Yourself with the Inspirational Words of Others
I share this quote here today to inspire you think beyond your current limitations in order to create business ideas. It is often the case that you are more than what you “think” you are. As leaders, social entrepreneurs need to go beyond the limitations of their own self talk as well as the limitations that have been preprogrammed by society.
If you want to change the world for the better, you must believe in yourself.
