Standing Stone brewery in Ashland, Oregon is a great example of a green business that incorporates environmentalism into everything they do.
From the rooftop solar panels on the brewery to the bikes that employees ride to work, along with the flair or organic local cuisine served at the restaurant, this company ranked near the top of the list of the 100 best green companies in Oregon. The company established itself as bicycle friendly years ago by providing free bikes to employees with 1,000 hours of service and who committed to cycling to work at least 45 days a year.
The company also does everything it can be be energy efficient both in their own usage and in the products they source. The company founders set the green tone for the establishment from the start, and over time it rubbed off on the staff.
