International social entrepreneurship programs can be found at top global colleges. These programs are designed to prepare students for leading roles in international development efforts.

For example, the Harvard Business School’s Social Enterprise Initiative is one such program which takes a holistic approach to business education through its field-based Immersion Experience Program. INSEAD’s Social Entrepreneurship Executive Education program in France and Singapore is a good option for those with little time to invest in a longer program.

In just five days, the intensive program brings participants up to date on the latest trends and case studies in the field of social entrepreneurship, with the Ashoka Foundation and others leaders in the field contributing to course content. In South Africa, there is another social entrepreneurship MBA program offered at the University of Cape Town which has a distinct emerging market and development focus.
