The PopTech social entrepreneurship fellowship program is designed to support visionary social innovators who can offer high-impact solutions to social challenges.
The fellowship program provides winners with a toolkit to aid them in implementing their ideas, including a worldwide network of experts and peers and increased visibility for their work. Between 10 and 20 fellows are selected each year from hundreds of applications. Applicants must meet a range of eligibility criteria, the most important being that their work is in critical social and environmental areas.
Their ideas should involve breakthrough solutions which can help to solve problems which were previously intractable, and they should also demonstrate a track record of leadership in the area of social innovation. They should demonstrate leadership capability and already be operating organizations which can be grown and scaled, whether for-profit, nonprofit or hybrid models.
