The Skoll Foundation offers scholarships for select students wanting to pursue an MBA in social entrepreneurship. These competitive awards are given to new MBA students who are dedicated to pursuing business solutions for social challenges.
The scholarship program not only provides funding, but also offers recipients the opportunity to network with leading social entrepreneurs and investors. Full tuition for an MBA program at Oxford’s Said Business School is paid to social entrepreneurs who can demonstrate work experience in the field and want to upgrade their knowledge and skills to further their enterprises.
Only five of these scholarships are awarded each year, and candidates are urged to apply early. Candidates are first assessed on academic criteria, and those that qualify for MBA program admission are then sent an essay question to complete.
