The Stewart Satter social entrepreneurship program at NYU Stern offers students the chance to challenge themselves and their peers to develop inspiring new ideas for addressing the world’s most critical problems.

The program offers a supportive environment that encourages students to take their ideas beyond the classroom. The training and practical skills that students learn will allow them to start and accelerate social enterprises by providing opportunities for access to strategic financial and technical resources.

For example, the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation provides free legal services to Satter program social entrepreneurs. The program is always updating its curriculum with the latest successful tools and techniques in this rapidly evolving field. Instructors seek to align research with the business reality to develop new ways of scaling social enterprise impact, while creating networking opportunities for scholars, practitioners and students to work together.
