Canada’s Trico Group can be proud of their long track record regarding corporate social entrepreneurship.

The property developer has made extensive commitments to charities and community groups throughout the years since its founding in 1989, and over this time they have also grown into on of the top residential developers in Western Canada. The founder of the company, Wayne Chiu, has a reputation for high ethical standards which have earned the company numerous awards.

Not only was Trico selected as one of the best managed companies in Canada for six years in a row, but it also received ethics awards from the Better Business Bureau and awards for its leadership in volunteer activities. Most recently, Chiu and his wife set up the Trico Charitable Foundation to foster social entrepreneurship on a national level.
