1. Eco Friendly Recycled Motor Oil
For those who are concerned about the environment, it is welcome news that eco friendly products are becoming so widespread across so many different industries. For example, car dealerships are around the country are switching over to recycled motor oil. ECO ULTRA brand of recycled motor oil is made in the US at an advanced re-refinery and it meets the Society of Automotive Engineers requirements and current vehicle manufacturers’ specifications.
These are green motor oils that don’t sacrifice performance. They are also cost-efficient, which makes it simple and affordable for dealers to switch over from traditional motor oils. The US produces over 1.3 billion gallons of used oil each year, and only 10% is currently re-refined. The rest of the used oil is either improperly disposed of or burned as an industrial fuel. Recycled motor oil is a step in the right direction to reversing these practices.
2. Eco Friendly Dog Supplies
Another area where eco friendly products are really taking over is in the world of pet supplies. DogGeekz.com, an online source for high quality dog supplies, has announced that eco friendly dog supplies sales dominate those of regular dog products offered on the site. The company says that ‘green’ dog products are more popular thanks to the many dog owners who are becoming more environmentally aware.
So far, 85% of the sales recorded by DogGeekz.com in 2011 have been of eco friendly dog products. The company says that they don’t need to put very much advertising into promoting these products since many of them “just sell themselves.” There is also a much wider range of new and sophisticated eco friendly dog products for customers to choose from. Even though these products are typically a bit more expensive than traditional dog items, this factor does not seem to be discouraging sales.
3. Eco Friendly Audio Accessories
The House of Marley, a project begun by Bob Marley’s children, has released a new line of eco friendly audio accessories.
