Successful Social Marketing Campaign

An example of a successful social marketing campaign comes from the well-known company Bath & Body Works. This example can be used for social enterprises too. This company was able to increase their sales by more than 10% upon implementation of this campaign, which generated very helpful user feedback and reviews.

Bath & Body Works has the advantage of an enthusiastic customer base which has been developed offline over the years. They were able to successfully convert this base into an online resource for the launch of their new footwear product this year. The company implemented the Bazaarvoice system of online ratings and reviews to enable customer feedback on the new product line, and the results were significant. Rather than spending large sums on commercial advertising for the new line, they were able to center their marketing effort around online recommendations which cut costs and boosted sales.
