They then add in the elements of people, processes and proof in order to create a solid marketing mix on which to base their campaign.

An additional concept which must be applied to effective e marketing strategies is the idea of personalization, which involves the recognition or individual customers and the establishment of relationships with them on an individual basis. To do this effectively requires the collection of as much information about each customer as possible with the purpose of determining the best product and service matches which can be personalized for each customer.
