Some of the key characteristics of an entrepreneur include a high level of discipline, because it requires a great amount of effort to build a successful business from the ground up. This includes many tasks which are not very exciting or fun for the entrepreneur, yet they must have the discipline to work through these difficult parts in order to reap the rewards of a thriving business.
Another key characteristic for entrepreneurs to possess is the ability to remain calm when things don’t go as planned. Many entrepreneurs experience crisis periods during the start up phase of their business, including some outright failures. But the entrepreneurs who are able to overcome these difficulties are the ones who know how to keep their cool under pressure. They realize that losing their temper or panicking will only make the problem worse.
