An Oxfam viral video on YouTube uses an animated short to inspire people to “Be aware, be moved, be involved. Be Humankind.”

The message of the video is that everyone has the power to do something about the images of poverty and injustice around the world which they see in the media every day. The charity’s ad was originally created for TV by ad agency RKCR, and underlines the range of global issues on which it campaigns.

While the ad was created for British TV, Oxfam is a global movement of people working with others to overcome poverty and suffering. Oxfam projects in over 70 countries tackle poverty from various angles. For example, the organization’s latest focus is on ensuring that people around the world have enough to eat through its GROW campaign.
