How You Can Get Motivated for 2011 – Part 2
“Look Forward to Your BIGGEST Year to Date!” – Matthew Alberto
This is a continuation of yesterday’s post on motivating yourself!
Start 2011 with a BANG!
As the year 2011 picks up speed, I really wanted to start the year with a BANG! Many of you will want to make this year great, and you deserve it. In order to get yourself motivated, however, I’ve personally realised that motivation often does not come from external events or circumstances. Sure, you can be influenced or inspired by certain people or certain happenings in your world. Ensure that you embark on having great business management that will help drive your skills and time more efficiently.
In the end, however, it is ONLY YOU who has the emotional and rational decision as to whether or not you want to get motivated. Essentially, what I’m saying is that: You have to be the person who has to motivate yourself, and no one else can do it for you!
Words From the Greatest Fighter in the World
As even Muhammad Ali, the famed American boxer, had once said: “The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses, behind the lines, in the gym, and our there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.” You may not be fighting a heavyweight boxing title, but in your own life you have your own struggles and battles to fight, and you certainly need motivation to keep going on.
Write Your Goals and Read Them Regularly
One specific goal that I have this year in order to get motivated is to write down one of my chief definite aims for the next five years. You can do this yourself too! All you need is pen and paper. Write down what you would like out of your life and the value that you would like to share with the world. Then read it aloud every night and every morning so that it becomes “stuck”, and it becomes a part of you.
As I said in my first post on motivation for 2011, motivation is so necessary for you as a human being. If you want to be a leader and an entrepreneur or social entrepreneur, you’ll especially need motivation for 2011 to get you through the ups and downs that will inevitably come your way.
Have You Tried Writing Your Goals Down?
Have any of you tried out the strategy of writing down your goals within business management and reading them every morning and night? What effects has it had on you and your success?
